The Bavarian Strollers

The Bavarian Strollers is a traditional German oompah band. Their lineup is based on a traditional Bavarian band consisting of two clarinets, trumpet, trombone and tuba, although they can also perform as a seven-piece by adding accordion and drums to produce a stronger sound while still keeping the authentic Bavarian feel.

The Bavarian Strollers are one of the UK’s busiest oompah bands, their main strength being “German Bier Keller” nights. They have a vast repertoire of both traditional and popular German music, as well as English sing-along tunes. There are vocals in both English and German and they play in traditional German Lederhosen costume.

The band has performed at many high-profile venues throughout Europe and the UK and has also appeared on a number of TV shows including ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and in the films ‘Photographing Fairies’ and ‘Weather in the Streets’.
